Doers and Dreamers – David Sosa-Michaca

Say ‘Hello’ to David! He is one of Kingston’s midtown businessmen promoting business in that district by being actively involved in planning events and building relationships. David was the key coordinator of the Independence of Mexico and Central America Festival and car show last year which drew lots of vendors and participants. This year, he is promoting a Cinco de Mayo Block Party which I’m personally looking forward to. By the way, I bet you didn’t know that we had a former professional basketball player in our community.

What brought you to the Kingston area and keeps you in this area?
God brought me here because me and my family were contemplating Saugerties. We were driving by and saw the space on Broadway and it was God showing us the opportunity. N.Y City. I like the glamour of the city and the amount of  people that are always there.

I played professional basketball in Mexico City and played for a traveling team for a number of years.
